Congregation Beth Jacob, Redwood City.
Starts at 10am and is followed by Kiddish lunch around 12:30. Dress code is typically “business casual”. For our East Coast visitors, dress may seem more casual (for example, suits are much less common).
Please remember to turn off cell phones as these should not be used while in the building.
Reception
An evening reception will be held in San Carlos from 6-10pm for out of town guests and close family and friends.
Travel Information
Hotels: There are a variety of hotels conveniently located in the San Carlos, Redwood City,and San Mateo areas. A few in San Carlos are Country Inn and Suites, Hyatt House and Holiday Inn Express. The Atherton Inn in Redwood City is one of the closest to the synagogue.
Air Travel: The closest airport is San Francisco International (SFO) and it has the most flights. Flying into San Jose (SJC) or Oakland (OAK)is also possible, but you will have a longer drive.
Restaurants: Some of our favorites are Parkside Grill (Portola Valley), Town (San Carlos), Milagros (Redwood City). The area is filled with excellent restaurants so feel free to ask us for recommendations.
